This Mattress Vacuum is hard to tell how well it works for allergens. Its power cord is about 5m, or 16.25’ long. When used on a mattress with sheets still on it, it works well picking up dirt and debris without pulling on the sheet. It says it has dual motors, but one of the two orange areas is the filter. I assume the other one is the motor. Not sure why dual or single motor is better. The extra slots on the bottom of the vacuum I think it was keeps it from pulling the sheet. The filter just lift straight up and out. And the a twist to open one side of the filter container to empty it. There are instructions under the filter container to remind you how to take part and put back together the filter in the container. The UV light is on the rear bottom of the unit. There are 2 switches, one on each side of the rear to active the UV light. There are 3 lights on the top front of the unit when the UV light turns on. They are off when the UV light is off. Normally I would remove stars for saying dual motors when it seem there isn’t but since it really doesn’t matter if there is 1 or 4 motors on this, I will leave the rate unadjusted for that.

This is great for quickly and easily vacuuming up light debris. We use it to vacuum up kitty litter from the cat jumping out of the box after taking care of business. Much easier than lugging out the back vacuum constantly. And since he's just been walking around his box, the UV light is a plus. We use it to vacuum /sterilize the blanket on the bed as well from all the fur he leaves behind. I can't verify the effectiveness on the UV light, but I use UV sterilization on my fish tanks and the difference is significant.

I don't actually know how well this sterilizes, but they did engage a safety so that the UV light won't be on if this is out where you could see it, which makes it safe to use. Don't use it if you can see light coming off of it, but, if not, it's perfectly safe to use. The vacuum itself is powerful for the size, it cleans really well (especially pet hair), and it takes a while before you need to recharge it. I had no issues in using this and found it to be a great option for cleaning furniture and the bed. We have little dogs who shed all over the place, and this makes it a lot easier to keep up with the hair issue. So I'm giving this five-stars for being powerful enough to really pull out the hair my little dogs leave on the furniture. This one's a good option for a powerful but small vacuum cleaner.

I have an inside pet that sheds, toddlers, and carpet. I absolutely LOVE this vacuum. It vacuums up all the pet hair and crumbs so quick and easy, leaving my carpet looking and feeling new again. It's done an amazing job.
